Job Description As a General Assistant you will… Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast and lunch, according to established menus and recipes. Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils. Collaborative working as a team supporting each other during meal preparation, weekly stocktaking and pot-washing. Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination. Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies. Provide friendly and efficient service to staff during mealtimes Handle money, operating a till, cashing up at the end of the shift Participate in training sessions and meeting related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards. Additionally supporting the team with any other business requirements and tasks. Qualifications Ideally have experience working in a small Kitchen. Have good Health & Safety knowledge. Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused. Fun and enthusiastic Have excellent organization skills. Demonstrate great attention to detail. Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team. Possess great customer service skills. Have a flexible approach to work Rate Per Hour: £13.20 Employment Type: Permanent Hours Per Week: 37.5
