JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Certified General Contractor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and perform a variety of construction and renovation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Projects may include residential renovations, commercial build-outs, and new construction.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be certified to operate as a general contractor in Ontario
• Proven experience as a general contractor or in a senior construction role
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with both residential and commercial projects
• Knowledge of energy-efficient and sustainable building practices
• Strong supplier and subcontractor network

• Plan, coordinate, and manage construction and renovation projects from start to finish
• Perform skilled work such as carpentry, framing, drywall, flooring, and finishing
• Hire, supervise, and coordinate subcontractors and trades as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Maintain accurate project timelines, budgets, and progress reports
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
