This is an opportunity to join Eko at a pivotal moment as we enter our scaling phase. With hundreds of customers and millions of users, this is a critical, strategic role that combines hands-on legal work with providing executive leadership with counsel that shapes our direction. You'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our success and grow alongside us. What You’ll Do: Commercial Contracts Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements (SaaS, vendor, partnership, NDAs), with a primary focus on U.S. contracts. Develop and maintain scalable contract templates, playbooks, and approval workflows. Employment & Labor Provide legal guidance on employment and labor law matters in Israel and the U.S. (hiring, performance management, terminations, compensation, policies). Partner closely with HR on employee relations, internal investigations, and compliance initiatives. Corporate Governance Advise the Board and executive team on governance best practices. Draft, review, and maintain corporate records and board resolutions, as well as manage shareholder matters. Regulatory & Compliance Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions. Oversee data privacy policies and regulatory risk assessments (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Intellectual Property Manage IP strategy, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and licensing. Coordinate with external counsel on IP registration and protection. Risk Management & Litigation Identify legal risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate them. Manage litigation, disputes, and relationships with outside counsel. Our Ideal Candidate Has: Law degree and an active license to practice in a relevant jurisdiction. 8+ years of experience, including both law firm and in-house roles, preferably with a B2B SaaS or e-commerce technology company. Demonstrated expertise across multiple legal areas, including Commercial Contracts, Employment Law, and Data Privacy. Proven ability to work independently and manage legal matters from strategy to execution. Strong business acumen, excellent communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Native English speaker with deep familiarity with American business culture. Responsibilities

The General Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements while providing legal guidance on employment and labor law matters. Additionally, they will advise the Board on governance best practices and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
