Description Legal Guidance and Compliance: Offer proactive legal counsel on a variety of matters. Develop and implement compliance strategies, policies, and procedures across various locations to mitigate legal risks. Contracts and Negotiations: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including vendor contracts, leases, employment agreements, and partnership arrangements. Ensure contractual agreements align with legal requirements and protect the organization's interests. Collaborate with outside counsel on a variety of matters. Litigation Management: Manage and oversee litigation matters, working closely with external counsel when necessary. Conduct investigations and assessments regarding potential legal risks and disputes, providing recommendations and resolutions. Training and Education: Provide training and educational sessions to internal stakeholders, ensuring awareness and understanding of legal implications in their roles and operations. Policy Development and Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, update, and implement policies and procedures in accordance with legal and regulatory changes. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to minimize legal exposure and ensure proactive risk management across the organization. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredidted US Law School and active Bar membership in good standing. Minimum 5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in Construction Law. Proven experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and review. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
