Description The General Counsel serving as chief legal officer and strategic advisor to executive leadership and Board of Directors. Responsible for overseeing all legal, regulatory, compliance, and risk management functions while enabling business growth and operational performance. Provides business-focused legal guidance across corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, commercial contracts, employment law, and enterprise risk. Leads legal strategy for complex transactions, ensures regulatory compliance, and partners cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Sales, and Operations. Proven ability to balance legal rigor with practical business judgment, manage outside counsel, and build scalable legal processes that support organizational objectives. This role requires strong business judgment, executive presence, and the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance. Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 10+ years of progressive legal experience. Demonstrated experience advising senior executives and boards of directors. Strong background in commercial contracts, corporate governance, and risk management.
