Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and evaluations for patients. Develop individualized treatment plans that address patients' dental needs. Perform a wide range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, and root canals. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure efficient patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques through continuing education. Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license and current malpractice insurance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff. Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome. Ability to perform a variety of dental procedures with precision and attention to detail. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and improving patient outcomes. Familiarity with dental software and electronic health record systems.
