Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach (insert subject) in our (insert name of program). This is a (full-time/part-time), professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach (insert subject) courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation. Qualifications Skills/Competencies/Qualifications: * Documented expertise in academic area as demonstrated by data sheets, diplomas, transcripts, certifications, resume * Expertise in interpersonal and verbal presentation/written communication skills * Minimum of 3 years of significant program related/industry experience for Technical Instructor * Appropriate program licensure, as well as relevant certifications, work experience and Degree as per accreditation and state licensing procedures. Specific requirements may vary depending upon state and accrediting commission regulations. * The general education instructor must have a master’s degree and 15-18 semester Masters level credits in the subject taught or a Master’s degree in the subject taught. * Prior postsecondary teaching experience preferred * Strong organizational and planning skills * Team player who demonstrates initiative, dependability and reliability Classification: Nursing and Dental Hygiene: Exempt Work Hours: May vary daily, and evening and weekend hours may be required.

Responsibilities
