Jardeg is looking for a General Foreperson to join the Refinery Projects Team at the Cenovus site in Lloydminster, Alberta. This is a temporary position starting August 12th and approximate end date is December 10th. This is a day shift position on a 9/5 shift schedule, working 10 hours per day. Living out allowance and shift travel allowance provided for those residing outside the local area.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate construction activities on a job site
  • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of project procedures, schedules, cost controls and reporting
  • Request and coordinate movement of tools, materials and equipment in accordance with established procedures and lead times
  • Identify potential changes to project scope and advises project superintendent of associated impacts
  • Assist in the coordination and planning of projects in a particular construction area
  • Monitor contractors, trades performance, progress and productivity
  • Ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications

    Position Qualifications:

  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test

  • Project Management Professional designation would be an asset.
  • Maintenance Management Professional designation would be an asset.
  • Journeyperson ticket / Red seal / Blue seal certification would be an asset.
  • Formal supervisory or management training/certification is an asset
  • Must hold a valid Driver’s License
  • 3 year Driver’s Abstract (must be reviewed and approved by site safety team)
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
