ABOUT THE POSITION

The City of Gosnells is currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic professionals to join our Parks and Environment team.
This hands-on role supports the establishment, maintenance and repair of parks infrastructure across the City. You will operate a range of tools and equipment to help maintain playgrounds, skate parks and other park assets to a high standard, while also assisting with the installation of features such as fencing, paving, boardwalks and shelters.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Cert III in Parks and Gardens, Landscaping or equivalent qualification.
• Current MR Class drivers licence
• White card
• National Police Clearance (less than three months old) Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

• Trade certificate in Carpentry / Cabinetry / Boiler making or equivalent.
• Chainsaw Ticket
• Concrete, paving, limestone and/or brickwork experience
• Operator tickets for operating machinery such as Loader, Bobcat, Excavator, EWP, Forklift and Chainsaw.
• Completion of Playground Operation Inspection Level 3
