We’re looking for a proactive and reliable full time permanent General Hand to join our Queenstown branch team. This hands-on role supports the smooth day-to-day operation of the branch by helping ensure vehicles, parts, and supplies are in the right place at the right time. About the role: As a General Hand, you’ll play an important part in keeping the branch running efficiently. You’ll assist with vehicle movements, inventory support, supplier coordination, branch upkeep, and general operational tasks that help deliver a great guest experience. What you’ll do: Move vehicles around the branch and between locations to support repairs, compliance renewals, customer readiness, and smooth workflow. Complete vehicle changeovers, parts deliveries, refuelling, and gas bottle refills as required. Support stores and inventory processes, including stocktakes, purchase orders, and accurate system updates. Build strong working relationships with suppliers and act as a key point of coordination when needed. Assist with branch presentation, cleanliness, and general upkeep of the site and premises. Support quality control checks and assist with the guest shuttle bus when required. Communicate clearly with crew and branch management, contribute ideas for improvement, and actively participate in health and safety. What we’re looking for: A restricted driver’s licence or above is required. Previous driving, stores, inventory, logistics, or branch operations experience is desirable. Strong time management, multitasking, and prioritisation skills. Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. A positive, proactive, and flexible approach, with the ability to work well under pressure. Confidence working autonomously and as part of a team.
