We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant/ chef to join our culinary team. EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is advantageous but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred; training will be provided as necessary.
• Familiarity with culinary techniques and meal preparation processes would be beneficial.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• A team player with good communication skills who can help foster a collaborative kitchen environment.

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
• Support chefs in meal preparation and cooking processes, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained.
• Help with the organisation of kitchen supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is clean and ready for use.
• Participate in the cleaning of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in the plating and presentation of dishes as required.
• Follow instructions from chefs and kitchen managers to ensure smooth operation during service times.
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by communicating effectively with colleagues.
