Description The General Labor Construction Worker supports construction projects by performing a variety of physical tasks on job sites. This role assists skilled tradespeople, maintains job site cleanliness and safety, and helps ensure projects are completed efficiently and to quality standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Site Preparation & Cleanup Assist with setting up and breaking down job sites, including moving materials and equipment Clean, sweep, and remove debris to maintain a safe and organized work environment Load and unload building materials, tools, and supplies Construction Support Perform basic construction tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and material handling Assist carpenters, installers, equipment operators, and other skilled workers as directed Use basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete or gravel when required Safety & Compliance Follow all safety protocols, including wearing required PPE Report any hazards, incidents, or equipment issues Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations Equipment Operation (If Qualified) Operate small machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, compactors, or generators Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Qualifications: Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, and working outdoors) Basic knowledge of hand and power tools Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Willingness to work in various weather conditions Work Environment: Outdoor and indoor construction sites Exposure to dust, noise, and heavy equipment May require overtime or weekend work depending on project needs
