Description

We are actively hiring for the position of General Labor (Sheeter Operator Assistant) for our plant in Arlington, TX Shift: 1st shift 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM Monday-Friday Pay: $14.00 Duties & Responsibilities: * Assisting the Sheeter Operator in inspecting the machine and checking items produced for proper quality specifications. * Staging rolls and completed pallets. * Helping ensure efficiencies, running speeds, and down time are within specified limits. Assisting in troubleshooting to enhance production. * Driving of a clamp truck and forklift to load rolls and put up paper once sheeted. Learning all paper grades run on this machine. * Assist in charting all daily production and any problems that may occur. * Organizing process area to perform basic maintenance as required. * Placing the recycled scrap in bins. Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned Qualification: * Must be teamwork oriented. * Basic computer skills. * Must be able to operate in a safe and productive manner. * Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. * Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations. * Able to stand a minimum of 8 hours and work occasional overtime as requested. * Ability to receive forklift certification. Responsibilities
