Our ITAD division provides Canadians with a one stop recycling service for end-of-life IT equipment. We are looking for a computer technician. In this role you will refurbish and optimize used assets.
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to handle various tasks that contribute to our operational success. This role requires a combination of physical labor, driving skills, and mechanical knowledge, making it essential for candidates to be adaptable and proactive in their duties.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in delivery driving or route driving is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination.
  • Experience in warehouse settings is a plus.
  • A valid driver’s license is required; additional certifications for specific vehicle types may be necessary.
  • Must be physically capable of performing manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy loads.
  • Proven ability to complete customer requirements to the fullest.
  • Background in computer hardware is an asset
  • Quick learner, self starter
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.

Responsibilities
  • Operate commercial vehicles including transportation of materials.
  • Perform load and unload tasks using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Execute shuttle driving responsibilities to transport goods between locations efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and report any issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at a times.
  • Must know and comply in a timely manner with client requirements, which may and often do vary by specific shipment/order/contract.
  • Receiving and Triage inbound shipments into process categories (recycling and resale)
  • Package and clean equipment for resale
  • Participate with customer location pickups
  • Assist computer technicians with data wiping, inventory and from time to time with refurbishing duties
  • Use air tools, drills, and basic hand tools to clean and upgrade electronic equipment
  • Manual labour as required, must be able to lift 20kgs and use a pallet jack
  • Ensure daily, weekly, monthly AMS department production and efficiency goals are accomplished
  • Record / Report production data accurately
  • Ensure work area remains clean and free of trash/debris throughout the work shift, including removal of plastic wrap/packaging material in the work centers
  • Communicate all issues to the AMS Manager and/or AMS Planner that could result in process delays or safety issues
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and safety procedures. Use good operational, loss prevention, and safety judgement at all times
  • Maintain strict adherence to eCycle policy and AMS SOP’s and client contract requirements related to AMS product security.
