Position Title: General Labor – Salinas Box Pay Rate: $21.00 Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time – Must be flexible to work all three shifts, work 12 hours as need, Saturdays and Sundays as needed. 1st Shift – 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM 2nd Shift – 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM 3rd Shift – 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM Physical Location: Salinas Box Plant 1345 Harkins Road Salinas, Ca. 93901 831-755-2141 Rosamaria Alcaraz HR Coordinator The Job You Will Perform: * Safely provide maintenance support to our fast-paced Salinas Box that is equipped with technology ranging from simple to state of the art for the corrugated industry. * Utilize both excellent mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, lubrication) and electrical/electronic skills and knowledge (PLCs, A/C, D/C motors and drives, schematics) in our continuous process manufacturing environment to achieve machine uptime metrics. * Critical thinking; predictive and preventative maintenance, finding root cause of failure. * Work positively with maintenance and operations teams to troubleshoot and solve problems. * Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem solving skills. * Ability to work alone, with a partner, or as a member of a team maintaining safety, quality & productivity. * Engaged in preventative maintenance processes through facility. * Willingness to cross train and learn new skills in other technical areas to enhance capabilities. * Able to work with computer system for maintenance processes, stores and work order The Skills You Will Bring: * At least one year of successful General Labor and repair experience in a manufacturing facility. * On-the-job success in safety, attendance and quality of work expected. * Maintenance experience in corrugated a plus.
