Description Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Insulator to perform the necessary tasks to apply and install insulation and sealing materials on finished products according to specifications. This role is responsible for the hands-on application of insulation materials, maintaining quality control standards, and assisting in the safe flow and staging of products within the department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Apply and install insulation and sealing materials to products according to work orders, blueprints, and production schedules. . Ensure all insulation work meets CDI quality standards and is applied properly to prevent heat loss or product damage. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company safety protocols and 5S principles. Assist the Insulation Lead with the staging and movement of products into and out of the work area. Follow all material handling and safety guidelines for the use of insulation, adhesives, and personal protective gear. Requirements Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Knowledge of insulation materials and application techniques is a plus. Forklift certification is required, or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire. Additional Qualifications: Embraces and promotes CDI values – FAST, FUN, EASY, COMMUNITY, GROWTH Excellent communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
