General Labor Job Description Pay Range: $23.36 – $24.86/hour Key Responsibilities Provide safe and efficient production support (hand-stacking, case packing, housekeeping, product conveying, reclaim). Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) precisely. Set up packaging coders and validate product codes. Identify and report out-of-specification product conditions. Perform equipment adjustments using hand tools. Operate a lift truck safely to move materials. Complete production records accurately and neatly. Assist with equipment changeovers, CIP/SIP, clean-up, and setup. Perform environmental controls and product reclaim/rework. Package and stack products. Support internal and external audits. Follow all safety, GMP, and food safety procedures. Cross-train with other departments. Maintain clean work areas. Uphold Saputo’s Code of Ethics and Company Values. Collaborate with team members and other departments. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of work experience. Preferred: Experience in food manufacturing or warehousing. Strong math and computer skills (SAP a plus). Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Excellent attendance record. Physical Demands Work in noisy, hot, cold, wet, or humid environments. Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, stair climbing. Manual dexterity, gripping, squeezing, and fine manipulation. Visual acuity and ability to distinguish colors. Work with chemicals using PPE and safety procedures. Ideal Candidate Traits Strong work ethic and team-oriented. Passionate and self-motivated. Able to multitask and follow instructions.
