We offer excellent benefits and competitive pay with great growth opportunities! 1st Shift 6:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday thru Friday. Sign on Bonus of $1,500 for External Candidates  Rate $18.75/hr.   GENERAL PURPOSE Perform a variety of general duties of a basic, repetitive, and/or manual nature that are relevant to the work area(s) being supported. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist operators as necessary. * Load and/or unload materials, ingredients, parts, products, cases, crates, and pallets. * Move, stack, or place items on conveyor manually or by mechanized means. * Deliver production or area specific items to designated work areas for processing. * Pack products in crates or boxes by hand. * Sort, bundle, and fill containers or place in assembled units. * Mark or put identifying labels on product loads. * Construct or de-construct shipping boxes. * Maintain general housekeeping of the assigned area. * Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly. * Report quality and operational issues or irregularities to supervisor as they occur. * Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding. * health and safety issues * Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate. * regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements. * The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, * but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred. * Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Able to follow directions and carry out instructions. * Able to effectively work in a team environment. * Able to legibly write entries for record keeping. * Able to work in a fast-paced environment. * Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Must be able to read, write and speak English.     An Equal Opportunity Employer
