Description Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in measuring materials, using wet saws, and laying tile, with a commitment to safety and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth, as the successful candidate will be encouraged to learn multiple roles within the facility and expand their skills in a dynamic production environment. Requirements Key Responsibilities Follow all safety protocols and wear required protective clothing, including face shields, safety glasses, and gloves. Operate both electric and manual tools such as saws, grinders, utility knives, heat guns, and tape measures. Measure, cut, and lay small pieces of tile onto various types and sizes of metal surfaces coated with adhesive film. Log labor hours into the company’s MRP system (computer software). Maintain a clean and organized work area. Safely operate an overhead crane as needed. Stand, sit, climb, bend, grasp, pull, push, stoop, and stretch for extended periods. Work scheduled shift hours and overtime as required. Exhibit a willingness to learn new skills and take on different tasks throughout the facility. Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Experience with measuring tools, tile work, or similar fabrication processes is highly desirable. Required Qualifications Proficiency in using electrical and manual tools (e.g., saws, grinders, utility knives, heat guns, tape measures). Basic computer literacy with the ability to enter data into an MRP or similar software system. Knowledge of workplace safety standards and safe tool operation. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions and processes accurately. Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks and stand or sit for long periods. Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and a strong work ethic. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience logging labor hours into computer systems or manufacturing software. Familiarity with tile installation, metal surface preparation, or industrial adhesive application. Previous experience operating overhead cranes or other material handling equipment. Interest in cross-training and advancing within the organization. Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role is primarily performed on the fabrication shop floor. May involve exposure to noise, dust, heat, or other typical manufacturing conditions. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times.
