Description
When a family comes home to a flooded basement, a fire-damaged kitchen, or a mold-riddled wall, someone has to show up and make it right. That's this job — and it matters more than most people realize. Our client is a growing, family-owned property restoration company operating across Northeastern Pennsylvania as part of one of the most recognized names in the restoration industry, with six locations spanning the region and a 24/7 commitment to the communities they serve. They've built a team of IICRC-certified technicians, invested in industry-leading equipment, and created a genuine path from day-one technician all the way to crew lead, production manager, and beyond. Dan — their COO — started as a technician himself. If you're a hardworking, dependable person with any background in construction, trades, or hands-on labor and you want a job with real room to grow, this team wants to talk to you. What You'll Own Respond to water, fire, smoke, and mold damage jobs at residential and commercial properties — often on an urgent, emergency basis Perform mitigation and restoration work including water extraction, structural drying, demolition of damaged materials, cleaning, and debris removal Set up, operate, and monitor drying and restoration equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and specialty tools Document job conditions, take photos, and record daily progress accurately for project files and insurance coordination Interact with property owners and clients on-site in a professional, compassionate manner — you are often meeting people on their worst day Participate in an on-call weekend rotation and emergency response schedule — overtime is available and consistent Grow your skills through ongoing IICRC training, both online and in the field, working toward certifications that advance your career Any background in construction, general labor, trades, landscaping, moving, cleaning, or other physically demanding hands-on work — restoration experience is a plus, not a requirement A reliable, show-up-every-day work ethic — this team runs on people they can count on Willingness to work on-call weekend rotations and take advantage of consistent overtime opportunities A growth mindset — the candidates who thrive here are the ones who want to build a career, not just fill a shift Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to perform physical work including lifting, bending, carrying equipment, and working in confined or uncomfortable spaces Bilingual candidates are welcome $20–$25 per hour, based on experience Consistent overtime availability — this is a role where your paycheck reflects your effort Relocation assistance available for the right candidate On-the-job IICRC certification training — the company pays for your credentials A clear, real career path: Technician → Crew Lead → Production Manager → Project Manager Stable, full-time employment with a locally rooted, family-run company backed by a nationally recognized brand Benefits details to be confirmed with client prior to posting
