Description Maintain the aesthetic appeal and safety of Plaisted Companies' outdoor areas, including the pit, landscape outdoor display, block yard, and parking lots. Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, and operating/maintaining landscaping equipment. Perform and complete inspections on all equipment being used, making minor repairs and reporting any discrepancies found. Clean and replace landscaping areas around the office, which include rock and mulch beds. Clean all equipment and vehicles daily assigned to ensure that the equipment is clean and presents a professional appearance. Assist the landscape store with weeding, trimming, and removing debris from the outdoor showcase area. Apply weed killer and fertilizer in designated areas as needed. Assist in organizing the equipment, vehicles, and materials as directed in order to maintain easy access throughout the pit mining area. Assist in maintaining the pit and storage areas in compliance with MSHA and OSHA regulations, including first aid, fall hazard, and fire extinguishers. Continually seek methods of controlling and reducing costs. Maintains cooperative working relationships with other internal and external customers. Respects the confidentiality of the company, customers and personnel information. Always at work punctually in order to ensure that customer service may be maintained. Makes the best use of time during working hours. Seeks guidance and direction as necessary to perform duties. Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance appropriate for the position and situation. Wearing the company uniform when at work. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Valid Driver License
