Job Description Under the authority of the Site Supervisor, the incumbent receives the different types of metals, makes an initial classification and routes it to the appropriate locations: Greet customers in a courteous manner following our procedures and requirements. Proceed to the unloading of the customers' vehicles. Sort the different metals according to their characteristics. Inspect customer's metals. Identify the right type of metal for each product and validate its quality. Weigh the metals on the scale. Inform the customer on the price of the metal received. Perform data entry in the RECY software. Work with different types of machinery, (Forklift). Prepare receiving/shipping biases (tickets). Assist with torch cutting as needed. Ensure the cleanliness of the premises. Perform all other related tasks. Qualifications - One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a similar position. - Knowledge of metal recycling (major asset). - Fork lift experience (major asset). Desired skills: Resourcefulness and dynamic Health and safety awareness; Very good management of priorities. Ability to work in a team Additional Information Work schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm + Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Full time, permanent position. Work inside and outside. Able to lift 40 lbs. Standing and walking most of the shift. What we offer: Competitive Benefits package after 3 months. Possibility of overtime.
