Job Description Pay: $23.50/hr + $2.00/hr shift differential starting at 4pm Location: Rock Island, IL Schedule: The position currently operates Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, but hours will gradually extend later into the evening. Our long-term plan is to transition this role into a night shift, so schedule flexibility is essential. What You’ll Do As a General Laborer, you’ll support daily production and help ensure every product meets Techo-Bloc’s high quality standards. You’ll work alongside machine operators and assist with key processes such as: Inspect finished product for height, shape, color, and consistency Perform quality checks and remove defective pieces as needed Rework/replace blocks to ensure every pallet is customer-ready Package finished product by adding: packaging materials top sheet labels final quality check before going to the yard Keep all products packaged neatly, safely, and securely Assist with production support tasks such as: pallet repair general maintenance support yard support other assigned tasks to keep production moving Maintain a clean work area and support plant clean-up Follow all safety practices including PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures Qualifications What We’re Looking For We’re looking for people who show up ready to work, take pride in quality, and enjoy working as part of a strong team.
