Franklin Logistics is easy to work with and treats everyone with respect Position Summary: The Warehouse/Logistics General Laborer is responsible for manually labeling incoming products in accordance with internal and customer inventory requirements. This role ensures accurate labeling and organization of goods to support efficient order fulfillment and shipping using the FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory method. In addition to labeling the General Laborer is responsible for assisting the forklift operator with the kitting processes by stabilizing products with straps as they are moved from one racking system to another. This position does not include equipment operation. The general laborer positions is an hourly position reporting directly to the operation's site supervisor. Hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 7 am – 5 pm Starting Pay is $15.50 - $16.00 hour (based on experience) Receive weekly pay (40 hours regular + 7.5 hours overtime) Key Responsibilities: Accurately apply internal and customer-specified labels to products as they are received into the warehouse. Verify product information to ensure correct labeling and identification. Assist operator in organizing and staging products for storage and shipment following FIFO guidelines. Maintain accurate records of labeled inventory and report discrepancies or damaged goods. Assist in sorting and positioning products based on date codes, lot numbers, or receiving sequence to support FIFO compliance. Assist forklift operator with kitting process by stabilizing product with straps as they are moved from one racking system to another. Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors regarding workflow and any issues. Some janitorial/ sanitation duties during any downtime in between projects will be expected. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and operational standards. Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus but not required. Ability to read and interpret labels, product documentation, and basic inventory information. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed. Team Lifting is required for weight 50 lbs. and over. Reliable attendance and punctuality required. Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to seasonal temperatures. Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and walking. Use of basic tools such as tape dispensers, label printers, and markers. Note: This position does not involve forklift or powered equipment operation.
