Description

Workforce Inc. is seeking motivated and physically fit General Labourers to support our clients’ mining operations. The successful candidate will perform a variety of manual tasks to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the mine site.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy loads
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially hazardous environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team and follow directions
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts and weekends
  • Prior experience in manual labour or the mining industry is an asset
  • Valid G class drivers licence and reliable transportation is required
    Schedule: 7/7, 12-hour shifts, days and nights
    Pay Rate: $30 per hour + km based travel allowance

Responsibilities
  • Perform manual tasks such as cleaning, sweeping, and general upkeep of the mine site
  • Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment
  • Assist with the movement of heavy machinery and equipment
  • Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to the supervisor
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve the goals of the mine site
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
