TE KŌWHIRINGA | THE OPPORTUNITY

The Downer South division is highly respected and has a great track record for delivering a high standard of work across the country. We are looking for a General Labourer to provide support within our Gisborne team.
As a General Labourer, you will be involved in varied projects assisting with civil work, operating of machinery, and preparing worksites. This role may present an entry-level opportunity for people interested in civil infrastructure and roading.
You will be involved in the undertaking of day-to-day manual labouring duties and some general operation of light machinery as well as. This could include ensuring efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment while working as part of a cohesive team to deliver to client requirements

NGA PŪKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS

You will be a physically fit and motivated person and will bring with you:

• Full Class 1 drivers licence (WTR desirable)
• Ability to work within a team and alone when required
• Flexibility to work away from home and work night shift work / call outs as required

• Occasionally assist with call-out work.Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
