Magnum Trailer and Equipment ULC Salary Range: $20 - 25 per hour Full Time Shift: Monday to Thursday 4:30pm – 2:30am Location: Abbotsford, BC About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented night shift Industrial Paint Assistant to join our busy team. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the success of our painting operations. You will be working with a team of amazing people building custom trailer solutions for our customers in the Transportation Industry. Key Responsibilities Load and unload parts to be painted on paint racks by lifting within legal lifting limits or by means of mechanical lifting devices Clean paint booth and paint prep areas as required to maintain a safe work environment Masking and taping preparation of products as required Knowledge of safety equipment and safe handling of chemicals used in the work area Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding, chipping to prepare the surfaces for painting Caulking of all non-welded joints in preparation of painting Qualifications & Experience 1-3 years’ experience working in a paint, fabrication and/or manufacturing facility Experience operating mobile equipment including forklifts and overhead cranes Experience with air systems an asset Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, and working in a shop environment What We Offer Competitive pay with overtime opportunities Benefits package after probation (health/dental) Steady, year-round work Clean and organized industrial shop environment Supportive team and opportunities for advancement This job description is not intended to represent a complete list of all duties and responsibilities associated with the position.
