GENERAL LABOURER

Langford-based excavating company requires a General Labourer.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Picking up and delivering parts in a company vehicle
· Verify all goods are received and recorded properly on the associated paperwork
· Assist ground crew on site with physical labour
· Support company policies and procedures regarding health and safety and scheduled maintenance programs
· Follow all safe work practices, including keeping work areas clean, safe and organized
· Actively participate in all work related training
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
· Must have a valid driver’s license
· Able to work independently and as part of a team
· Valid First Aid is an asset
· Fork lift certification an asset
· Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy materials
· References to be submitted with the resume
We are looking for someone who can work productively alone or in a group. There will be a variety of duties assigned and a strong work ethic and willingness to follow instructions. The successful applicant will be professional and respectful to all associates and general public while on and off the site. Acceptable writing and communication skills are needed to complete legible documents as needed.
Wages commensurate with experience. Benefit plan including medical, dental and extended health and life insurance.
