JOB OVERVIEW

Morris Landscapes and Designs are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborers to join our team for the summer season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support our operations, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous labor experience in construction, manufacturing, or a similar field is preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety equipment is a plus
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential traits for success in this role
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Must have a valid drivers licence and reliable transportation’s a must as you’ll need to travel from site to site.
    Potential seasonal worker could transfer to snow removal for qualified labourer (s). Starting wage based on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
  • Perform general maintenance tasks including removal of material such as sod, mulch, rock, soil, brick
  • Planting of trees, shrubs and ground cover
  • Installation & repairs to irrigation
  • Irrigation trenching
  • Operate basic hand tools and machinery as needed
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors
