JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the operations of our job sites. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The Laborer will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Duties:

  • Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks around the facility.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Operate basic hand tools and machinery as needed.
  • Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, including assisting with construction or repair projects.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in labor-intensive roles is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Must adhere to safety regulations and practices at all times.

Please keep in mind, this job requires hard labour. We are working on the job sites all year round (yes, even when it’s snowing and cold).
