Whether you are pursuing personal projects, travel or a gradual transition into retirement, this role supports meaningful work-life balance and professional fulfilment. ---------------------------------------- MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:  * Loading and unloading of cargo, materials, supplies and equipment * Shoveling, snow removal * Assisting other trades onsite * General site maintenance, including assisting in maintaining an orderly worksite * Painting and light maintenance  * Fueling vehicles * Running errands, processing deliveries * Performs other duties assigned by a higher authority, which are unplanned or of a transient nature.   STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS:    EDUCATION / CERTIFICATE(S) / LICENSE(S):  * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred * Must have a valid Driver's License * Must be able to obtain Reliability level security clearance   EXPERIENCE:   * Experience working in a fast-paced environment * Past work experience related to Labourer functions, Customer Service, or a related job area   COMPETENCIES / SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  * Strong communication skills * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs * Requires ability to adapt to changing tasks and locations.   * Ability to integrate successfully into a small, multi-cultural and team-oriented department  * Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), as required  * Ability to work under physically demanding, often adverse weather conditions in remote Arctic locations  * The ideal candidates will be capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely.  * Holds Self and Others Accountable  * Problem Solving and Innovation  * Values and Respects Others  WHAT WE OFFER:  * Fly-In Fly-Out Schedule: 8 weeks on site, 8 weeks off site rotation. Travel from home to site is paid from any location in Canada, with overnight stays in Thule, Greenland, as required. * Living Arrangements: Private accommodations with meals, Wi-Fi, TV, laundry facilities, and recreational access provided while on site. * Competitive Compensation: Hourly rate of $28.26 -$29.75, 48-hour workweeks (Monday–Saturday), and opportunities for overtime. Additional $27 daily isolation allowance while on site. * Vacation Pay: 6% vacation pay on every paycheck. * Clothing Allowance: Arctic clothing and annual safety footwear allowance of $175. * Development Opportunities: Training for certifications and skill development with reasonable expenses covered.
