Tree Way Builders is looking for an immediate hire for a general labourer position with the potential to grow your skills in the construction industry. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with the following skills. Please note additional training in a skill-building environment will be available to the successful applicant. Although our offices are located in Steinbach, this job will primarily be for our Winnipeg project.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Site Superintendent(s) on daily operations of both residential and commercial projects.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor, which includes but is not limited to moving and organizing materials as well as equipment onsite.
• Assist with clean up, material procurement, sorting, and distribution of materials to various housing builds.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Great communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work in a team environment, working with our team and trade partners.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds, etc.)
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus.
• Operations of JCB telehandlers and skid steer is an asset but not necessary. Additional training and certification will be provided by Three Way Builders.
• Must hold a valid and up to date Manitoba Class 5 “full” driver license and a reliable mode of transportation to and from the job site.

Pay: $15.80-$27.97 per hour
