Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Bookkeeping:
  • Record all financial transactions in accounting software or ledgers.

  • Monitor and track expenses, ensuring alignment with the budget.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  • Process incoming and outgoing payments, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
  • Ensure that accounts payable and receivable are accurately recorded and aged accounts are followed up promptly.
  • Tax Compliance:
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and accounting regulations.
  • Audit Preparation:
  • Assist in the preparation for internal or external audits.
  • Ensure that all financial documents are in order for audit purposes.
  • Financial Analysis:
  • Conduct analysis of financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, or areas for financial improvement.
  • Provide management with insights for business decision-making.
  • Payroll Processing:
  • Process payroll, ensuring accurate calculations of salaries, benefits, and deductions.
  • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations affecting payroll.
  • Cash Flow Management:
  • Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
  • Recommend strategies for cash management and financial planning.
