We’re a growing, hands-on team looking for dependable people who want to learn, contribute, and grow with the company. Position Overview We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to support our accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational accounting knowledge who is ready to build experience across multiple areas of accounting in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations Support month-end close processes Perform cash and credit card reconciliations Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice entry and billing Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Assist with sales tax filings (city, state, and county) Maintain vendor and customer records, including tax-exempt forms Help resolve basic billing and payment discrepancies Support reporting, data entry, and general administrative tasks as needed Requirements What We’re Looking For 1–2 years of accounting experience or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP knowledge a plus) Familiarity with Excel and willingness to learn accounting software (QuickBooks experience a plus; Epicor a bonus) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Organized and able to manage multiple tasks Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative Why Join Sterling ATM? Responsibilities
