Description
Overview The job holder is responsible for managing general ledger, reconciliations, fixed assets, and financial close activities by implementing accounting procedures and systems that ensure accurate recording, timely reconciliations, and reliable financial reporting. The role executes and monitors accounting processes to maintain operational continuity and quality across all accounting cycles, while ensuring compliance with IFRS, SOCPA, and applicable regulatory requirements, and supporting audit readiness and financial integrity across NHCI. Key Responsibilities * Execute and manage general ledger, reconciliations, financial close, and fixed assets activities in compliance with accounting policies and standards.  * Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and account analyses to ensure accurate and complete financial records.  * Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including trial balance reviews and closing packages, within established timelines.  * Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, receivables, payables, payroll, and fixed assets, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.  *  Monitor financial data quality, perform variance analysis, and investigate unusual balances to maintain financial accuracy and strengthen internal controls.  * Ensure subsidiary ledgers are reconciled with the general ledger and maintain complete, auditable supporting documentation.  * Support internal and external audits by providing reconciliations, schedules, and required documentation while ensuring compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Financial Management, or any related field is required  * 9+ years of relevant experience with at least 4 years of experience in a leadership role  * Certifications in SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA are optional Excellent analytical
