Montauk Lodge offers quaint cabins for lodging guests, resort style guest rooms, retail gift sales, restaurant dining, and wonderful trails to walk. Who wouldn't want to experience this rustic adventure? This is a seasonal role with an estimated start date in February 2026, and an anticipated end date in October 2026 General Maintenance I Responsibilities: * Diagnose and repair problems in such areas as plumbing, HVAC, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring and painting * Complete and track assigned service requests in a safe and timely manner * Assist with organizing and prioritizing service requests and general maintenance tasks * Assist in the preparation of staff work assignments and preventative maintenance schedules * Maintain customer service standards responding to all requests/complaints to minimize/solve problems in a timely and safe manner * Assist with maintaining an inventory of supplies and tools sufficient for providing the appropriate level of service * Regularly inspect the business grounds and buildings to identify maintenance needs * Train and promote safe work practices according to company and industry standards Position Requirements: * Possess a wide range of maintenance skills and mechanical aptitude * Ability to carry out a wide range of repairs with excellent quality * Provide excellent customer service and people skills * Possess a valid drivers license * Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shift * Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment. * Position involves frequent bending, twisting, squatting and lifting up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. * Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen. Education and Experience: Education:   High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience: Two years of facility maintenance experience                      Knowledge of safe work practices (OSHA) Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status and all other status protected by law.
