This full-time role collaboratively works within the Facilities Department to conduct routine inspections and maintenance equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical systems. This role will participate in both preventative maintenance activities as well as emergency response, with rotating on-call expected. Schedule: This is a full-time role, working Monday through Friday with specific hours to be determined upon hire. This position is eligible for on-call and night premiums. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces. Physical & Work Environment Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; medium physical demand classification. Exposure to odors, chemicals, bodily fluids, and mechanical hazards. Work involves frequent walking, standing, climbing, bending, and handling tools/equipment. Must be physically and mentally capable of extended work hours if necessary. Responsibilities: Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other systems. Troubleshooting and repairing equipment breakdowns, malfunctions, and other issues. Conducting preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities to prevent breakdowns and malfunctions. Responding to emergency maintenance requests and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed. Participating in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.
