A recently taken-over pub in the heart of Norwich City Centre are looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager to join their team and help bring this venue to life. If you’re a hands-on, dynamic individual with a love for food, drink, and creating memorable guest experiences, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pub, ensuring the highest standards of service, food, and drink. This is a smaller venue with a real focus on creating a guest-first atmosphere, so your leadership and ability to connect with both guests and your team will be key.
Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the pub, ensuring efficient service and a great guest experience.
Lead and motivate a small, close-knit team, fostering a positive, dynamic environment.
Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, increase footfall, and maximise profitability.
Handle staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
Oversee budgets, stock control, and financial reporting.
Ensure smooth communication across all teams – front-of-house, kitchen, and bar.
