Job Description Hotel Morris Sydney - Handwritten Collection presents an exciting opportunity for a luxury-minded hotel professional to lead its team as General Manager, in one of the most unique and elegant boutique hotels in Sydney. Also known as the Host, you will have the chance to demonstrate your inspiring leadership abilities and strategic vision, while driving a highly engaged team to deliver a personalised guest experience. Your focus will be on elevating operational excellence and maximising performance, all while maintaining the hotel’s distinctive charm and intimate atmosphere. As General Manager you will be responsible for: Leading the overall management and strategic direction of Hotel Morris Sydney, part of the Handwritten Collection Building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, owners, and suppliers Supporting all departments to achieve operational excellence and exceed performance targets Maximising profitability while effectively managing financials to ensure long-term success Championing employee engagement and fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and inspired Qualifications A qualification in hotel management, hospitality management, commerce or business administration would be highly regarded.
