Description:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Proven experience in managing a manufacturing operation, ideally within the sheet metal fabrication or related industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  • Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and health and safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior management role within manufacturing.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing, or business management are preferred.
  • A full UK driving licence.

  • Set and monitor performance targets for the company and its staff, driving continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Develop strategies to generate new business opportunities, including identifying and targeting potential clients.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to promote its services and expand its market presence.
