Description

ArborNature, LLC, a locally owned and operated Tree Care Company based in Hilton Head Island, is looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets and operations of our local office while expanding each division to its full potential. The General Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive. Ultimately, you’ll help our company grow and thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with effective communication and thorough follow through
  • Effectively delegate responsibilities
  • Promote teamwork among sales reps, crew leaders/members, maintenance, and administrative support personnel. Must be able to work with different personalities to create a positive work environment
  • Work with Sales Representatives to exceed their sales goals
  • Oversee budget for revenues and expenses
  • Work with Outside Operations Manager and Crew Leaders/Crews to ensure the Crews have the proper tools/equipment to perform their duties before they leave the shop
  • Oversee crews to be sure they are working safely and cost effectively
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of a parts inventory and supply needs to minimize downtime in conjunction with our purchase order system.
  • Managing and directing shop mechanic(s)
  • Oversee Admin staff to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively

Requirements

  • 5+ years in the Green Industry in a supervisory position
  • May sometimes work extended hours, and must be available directly after storms and for emergency calls
  • Bi-Lingual or some Spanish helpful
  • Computer skills a must. Microsoft Office and custom software used daily.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
