This position plays a large role in the leadership of the dealership and will be part of one of the volume sales leaders in the market. Apply today! #TEAMWilliams #JoinTEAMWilliams Essential Duties Include but are not limited to: * Hires, trains, supervises, and motivates all dealership department managers. * Provides enthusiastic leadership to help shape employees' attitudes and build morale. * Holds regularly scheduled managers meetings to ensure that every department is operating efficiently and profitably. * Reviews and approves compensation plans for all employees. * Resolves any customer complaints that department managers are unable to rectify. * Monitors the daily operating control (DOC), recommending improved courses of action where necessary. * Develops and maintains a good working relationship with lending institutions and manufacturer personnel. * Communicates management policies and procedures to all employees and ensures that they are understood and followed. * Establish annual and monthly objectives for unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profit. * Establishes standards for displaying, merchandising, and maintaining new and used vehicles. * Establishes procedures for quick disposal of over 60 day aged used vehicles. * Addresses customer complaints to ensure high level of customer satisfaction. * Facilitates new-vehicle pre-delivery with the service manager. * Makes sure facility is secure, well lit, and professional in appearance. * Maintains a professional appearance. * Attends managers and manufacturer meetings as requested. Travel required on a limited basis.  Education and/or Experience *  Two to four years of General Manager, Service Manager, Finance Manager or Sales Manager or related experience. Skills and Qualifications * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. * Strong communication skills. * Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions. * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
