ABOUT THE ROLE

As a General Manager at Fenix Parts/Grade A, you will be the driving force behind all site operations. You will oversee a team of dedicated managers and supervisors, ensuring our salvage yard runs smoothly, safely, and profitably. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction — all while fostering a positive, growth-focused work environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Champion Safety & Compliance: Lead safety initiatives to protect our employees and visitors, creating a culture where safety comes first.
  • Build & Develop Teams: Recruit top talent, onboard new hires, and develop future leaders. Support staff through training, performance evaluations, and succession planning.
  • Maintain Employee Morale: Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Support: Work closely with corporate teams to support procurement, marketing, technical services, and field operations.
  • Set & Enforce Standards: Ensure our yard adheres to strict quality standards, operational policies, and safety regulations.
  • Drive Efficiency & Cost Savings: Manage costs, analyze variances, and implement solutions to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
  • Oversee Equipment & Technology: Keep machinery and tools in top shape, recommend upgrades, and oversee capital investments that boost productivity.
  • Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Collaborate on budgeting and planning, setting the stage for growth and long-term success.
  • Financial Management: Oversee cash operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
