Requirements What You'll Do: Lead all hotel operations with a focus on guest satisfaction, revenue maximization, expense control, and operating efficiency. Serve as the face of the hotel—visible, engaged, approachable, and highly responsive to guests and employees. Actively participate in sales strategy, key account development, local marketing, and community engagement. Conduct regular operating and departmental reviews, including weekly ATOM meetings and monthly financial business reviews. Ensure rigorous adherence to Hyatt brand standards and Avion Hospitality policies. Champion a positive, inclusive workplace environment, emphasizing recognition, accountability, and coaching. Support a culture of operational discipline including forecasting, budgeting, inventory controls, safety, and preventive maintenance. Lead hiring decisions for all management roles and participate in final interviews for all hotel positions. Maintain consistent presence on the floor, especially during peak business periods. What You'll Bring 5+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience, including at least 2 years in an AGM or GM capacity (or equivalent combination of degrees and experience). Proven track record of driving guest satisfaction, team development, and financial results. Strong business acumen—ability to read financial performance, forecast accurately, and manage budgets responsibly. High sense of ownership, urgency, and adaptability in a changing environment. Ability to build exceptional teams and lead through inspiration and empowerment. Experience with Hyatt, select-service brands, or transition/opening environments strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems. Valid driver’s license required. Physical Requirements Ability to work long and flexible hours (typical 50-hour work week).
