In line with our business expansion, we would like to invite qualified and candidates to fill the following position at FGV Holdings Berhad Job Description 1) Lead the overall execution of required deliverables as Project Manager (i.e. reports to Project Director / Head of BDCF) for each project undertaken. May also act as Project Director depending on complexity of project. 2) Provide direction and determine, consolidate, analyse, and interpret data gathered on market / industry research to conclude on project’s landscape, viability, and rationale. 3) Manage the whole Project as Project Manager which oversees the management and implementation of multiple Project Workstreams and other deliverables required by the Head of BDCF to provide direction, manage and execute the following: • Originate deals and contacts for both investment and divestment activities. • Negotiate with potential equity partners, business associates and various other parties throughout the whole investments and divestments process • Design and build financial models, and various other financial evaluation and feasibility studies. • Drafting of investment and divestment proposal papers. • Conduct preliminary assessments including Investment / Divestment Rating Scoresheet, financial, tax, and legal DueD prior to appointment of external advisors. Also conduct own detailed DueD. • Conduct beauty parades for external financial, tax, legal and other DueD advisors. • Build and maintain long term relationships with various financial, legal, and business advisors to support various corporate exercises implemented by the group. • Evaluate, and execute the implementation of new business opportunities that are in-line with overall group-wide strategic blueprint • Establish, monitor, and report performance of projects including post investment and divestment activities, and strategic initiatives and its implementation. • Analyse equity structure and shareholdings dynamics in the context of maximizing shareholders’ value. • Evaluate capital structure and determine the optimal position for the group. • Review return on capital, internal subsidy, and dividend flow. • Evaluate operational structure and business processes. • Regular evaluation on investments under directorship. • Troubleshooting / de-bottlenecking problematic areas of the organisation through SWAT / R & R teams. • Financial & Tax DueD : Verification of P&L / BS / Cash Flow Statements / Tax Position • Legal DueD : Legal Risk Exposure / Claims / Lawsuits / Compliance. • Technical DueD : IPs / Technology Verification / Asset Quality & Functionality • ESG DueD : ESH / Sustainability / Fair Labour / Gender Equality. • Partners DueD (Private Investigation) : Politically Exposed Person (PEP) / Ultimate Beneficiary Owner (UBO) / Offences • Lead Regulation & Statutory : Approvals / Amendments • Evaluate Productivity : Manufacturing / Pest & Diseases / Soil & Environment Suitability / Electricity & Water • Evaluate Supply Chain : Raw Materials / Procurement / Distribution Centre / Warehouse / Logistics & Transportation / Stocks & Inventory Mgmt • Evaluate Sales & Marketing : Marketing Strategy / 4Ps / Predictive Analytics • Explore Waste-to-Wealth Management : Renewables / Power Generation • Evaluate IT matters on Digitization & Digitalization • Human Capital : Org Structure / Designation / Salary & Remuneration / Manpower Strength / Capabilities / Learning & Development • Funding : Optimum Capital Structure / Debt-Equity Ratio / Fundraising Strategy / Tax Incentives / Tax Strategy • 100-day Plan & Timeline. • Historical Financial Performance : 5-years Performance Analysis / Fin. Qualification and working experience: • Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics / Actuarial Science / Business Administration • Degree in Political Science • Degree in Mathematics • Degree in any science subjects such as Engineering, Biotechnology, Aerospace etc. • Any professional qualification in accounting and finance field such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ICAEW, CFA etc. FGV is always on the lookout for talents who are able to contribute positively to the Group.
