About the Position Manage and schedule restaurant staff, addressing diners’ inquiries and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You are responsible to make an amazing dining experience for the guests and increase the restaurant's profitability. If you have excellent organizational and team management skills and experience in the food industry, we’d like to meet you. Responsibilities Delegate tasks to restaurant staff and supervise their performance Maintain a fully-stocked inventory and order food supplies Manage dining reservations Arrange to have shifts covered (e.g. when employees take time off) Help staff resolve on-the-job challenges Track daily costs and revenues Balance the cash register at the end of the shift Coordinate with suppliers as they deliver food product orders Ensure client satisfaction and gracefully handle any complaints Open or close the restaurant (when responsible for the first or last shift) Report maintenance and training needs Requirements Proven experience as a General Manager or relevant role in a fine dining restaurant Good knowledge of restaurant operations (like managing reservations and payments) Availability to work different shifts, including weekends Manage policies A customer service approach with the ability to de-escalate and manage complaints with professionalism and Hospitality Excellent organizational skills Team management abilities Compensation & Benefits: $90K - $100K annual base salary Performance-based bonus potential of up to $10K per year (paid out quarterly) Health insurance CalSavers 2 weeks of PTO + sick time Our client is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
