Position Summary The General Manager is responsible for end-to-end operational and business performance at Circuit Spring, including PCB assembly, engineering, testing, inspection, shipping, and customer support. This leader translates business strategy into disciplined execution—building scalable systems, driving continuous improvement, and delivering measurable results. Success in this role requires a hands-on operational leader who is equally comfortable engaging with customers, leading teams, and partnering cross-functionally. The General Manager owns on-time delivery, cost control, quality performance, and customer satisfaction while building the operational foundation for long-term growth. Develop and implement high-impact business strategies that support long-term growth, operational maturity, and profitability. Manage the operating budget—including labor, materials, and overhead—and partner with Finance to interpret and address cost drivers, variances, and efficiency opportunities. Lead capacity planning, resource allocation, and long-range operational forecasting. Establish and institutionalize cultural mechanisms—including role clarity, feedback loops, and performance reinforcement—that promote accountability, teamwork, ownership of outcomes, and continuous improvement across the organization. Establish and enforce production schedules, workflow standards, and capacity plans. Solve systemic operational issues related to productivity, material availability, equipment bottlenecks, and staffing constraints. Oversee procurement and inventory management activities to ensure material availability, accurate inventory levels, controlled spending, and alignment with production schedules. Standardize work procedures and ensure adherence to documented processes. Establish key performance metrics (KPIs) for productivity, on-time delivery, first-pass yield, and labor utilization. Ensure products are delivered to customers without defects or disruption, meeting or exceeding customer expectations for performance, reliability, and delivery. Maintain accountability for ISO 9001 compliance by overseeing QMS execution, internal audits, documentation integrity, and corrective-action effectiveness. Ensure all processes comply with IPC standards, customer requirements, and quality objectives. Serve as the operational point of contact for customers regarding production status, technical questions, delivery commitments, and issue resolution. Support quoting and estimating by providing accurate labor, routing, and capacity assessments. Ensure timely communication of delivery risks, production changes, engineering updates, and corrective actions. Supervise team members, providing coaching, direction, performance management, and recognition. Provide business status updates, performance metrics, operational summaries, and strategic recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders.
