Your Skills & Experience

  • You’ll have experience of successful, food-led sites that take at least 25K net a week.
  • You’ll be experienced in building sales and maintaining a fantastic local reputation based on great food and excellent hospitality.
  • You’ll engage with customers, ensuring they have a great experience while visiting our pubs.
  • You’ll help to recruit, build and motivate a strong and efficient team - both front of house and in the kitchen.
  • You will be passionate, resilient, friendly and fair. You will have a strong and ethical approach to carrying out your role.
  • You’ll be an active and empowering leader, creating an inspiring culture of involvement, professionalism, and fun. Your team will be loyal, and you’ll recognise their contributions regularly.
  • You’ll be super organised and know your way around a P & L with tight control on all your KPIs including payroll, cash and stocks. You will have a strategic awareness of the long-term goals of the business.
  • You’ll have good attention to detail and continuously drive the operating standards.
  • You’ll take charge of your own personal development, through a process of continual learning, and be an advocate of continual learning and development for your team.
  • You’ll have some basic kitchen experience and be aware of the food safety and health and safety standards required to operate safely
Responsibilities

A rare opportunity has come up to join the company supporting the teams in our food pubs. The Designate General Manager is a key role in making our pubs a success and will support the GMs across our food sites in Greater Manchester, Cheshire and the Wirral.
