About the role

Reporting to the Managing Director and serving on the Executive Leadership Team, the General Manager Digital Transformation and Technology Services leads enterprise-wide technology, cyber security, data and analytics, AI governance and digital programs. The General Manager will develop and execute a Digital Transformation and Technology Services Strategy aligned to Strategy 2040, including migration from legacy environments to cloud-based platforms, an AI Strategy and Governance Framework, and an enterprise cyber security strategy spanning IT and OT/IACS environments. The role acts as principal advisor to the Board and the Audit, Finance & Risk Committee on technology, cyber, data and AI matters, and is Executive Sponsor of the Digital Transformation and Technology Steering Committee. About you

• As an accomplished technology leader, you bring extensive experience in IT and digital strategy development and implementation, including managing high-performing IT departments and complex change or transformation initiatives. Experience in a customer-oriented utilities sector would be well regarded, but of greater value is executive-level exposure including presenting and reporting to Boards and Committees and a history of fostering highly engaged teams. Your ability to assess risk, make timely decisions and explain technical matters to non-technical audiences will be essential.
