Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated General Manager to lead our team at Sef Steakhouse.
As General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that both front-of-house and kitchen teams deliver exceptional service and maintain our high standards of quality. You will be accountable for managing staff, enhancing the guest experience, supporting the kitchen team to drive consistency, and controlling labour costs and expenses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and inspire the front-of-house and kitchen teams to deliver outstanding hospitality.
  • Ensure all guests receive the Sef Steakhouse experience: great food, great service, great atmosphere.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations including staff management, stock control, reservations, and floor supervision.
  • Support the kitchen team to maintain high levels of food quality, consistency, and hygiene.
  • Manage labour, rota planning, and operational expenses to meet financial targets.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff, providing coaching and feedback to help them grow.
  • Uphold compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
  • Report directly to ownership on performance, KPIs, and improvements.
